I will always miss you Grandma Dot, as you were there for me my whole life, from living next to you on Manny’s Corners Road to visiting you and staying over night. I will miss your hugs and kisses, your clip on earrings, your knick-knacks and seagulls. I will especially miss talking to you, on your porch overlooking the pond, or at your kitchen table with the smell of smoke. In all the years I knew you, you lived in one home and always stayed true to yourself. You always let people know exactly how you felt and I feel like I got that from you. I remember playing gin rummy with you, and putting a puzzle together, shining silverware and dancing in your living room in front of the whole family. You always made me happy and your home was my second home. I never once felt lonely or bored when I was with you. I love you.
