Obituary of James E. Anderson Sr.

James E. Anderson, Sr; age 48, of Gloversville, was found on April 23, 2024, in Gloversville. He had been missing for about ten months.

He was born December 21, 1975, in Gloversville. He was employed as a general laborer in the area. A friendly, caring soul, he brightened up a room the moment he would walk in. He loved hunting and fishing and just being outdoors.

Jim is survived by two children, James Anderson Jr. and Megan Anderson; his parents, James T. and Deborah (Peek) Anderson; a sister, Heather Fegley, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private interment took place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, under the direction of Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 pm onThursday, May 2nd at the Foothills Worship Center, 305 Jansen Ave; Johnstown, with Pastor Brad Chesebro presiding. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Foothills Worship Center.
