I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Judge Lomanto. I worked with him for 26 years as a Court Clerk and had enormous respect for him. He was so kind to me (despite his teasing) and I knew he always had my back. One time I saw Grace and him in a restaurant after he retired. He told me "you don't have to call me judge anymore". I was mortified. But that's who he was. A friend. My heart goes out to his entire family.

I can't tell you how saddened I am with the passing of Angelo! I truly felt he was part of our family and most importantly a dear friend of my late mother Dolly....my mother worked for Angelo as a court clerk for many years and she even talked of returning from retirement in her 80's because she had such respect and love for Angelo. I am glad that over the past few years I was able to spend time with Angelo and break some good Italian bread and sip some wine. He truly was a special person and he was a key connection in my upbringing by my maternal Italian family growing up. Special people like Angelo are a gift from God and I will miss him dearly. To his family know that he is now in Heaven and Dolly is taking good care of him as she always did! Rest in peace dear friend.

Angelo had a big impact on me growing up as I lived across the street and was at their house often playing with Concetta and the other siblings. He always made me feel welcome and was fun! He will be greatly missed!
