Never did I think that I would live to see the death of those that I used to babysit, which I did for Deanna, Barbara and Robert,Jr. That was many years ago when they lived in the apartment next to us in the Freebold Apartments (which is no longer there).

So sorry to hear of Deanna’s passing. She was a welcoming face at village board meetings and I’ll miss that and seeing her around town. We send condolences to the family.

I rented fron Deanna for the last 2 years. I always enjoyed talking with her about our local history. She was a very nice landlady and took care of her building and her tenants. I called her Grandma Walton...she will be greatly missed.
