Obituary of June Countermine

     June Hausmann Countermine, 89, of Amsterdam, passed away on Thursday May 20, 2021 at the River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, NY. 

    Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 9, 1931 a daughter of the late Clarence and Edna Mae Denham Hausmann.  She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School.

   June was a homemaker and took great care of her children and family.    She is survived by her loving children, Paul (Laurie) Lawton of Broadalbin, NY.   Two daughters, Linda (Bill) Catlin of Amsterdam and Ardeth (Anna) Countermine of Cobleskill, NY.  Three grandchildren, John Oleksak (Jessica), Laci (Hil) Matthews and Paul Lawton Jr.  Great-grandchildren,  Johanna Hathaway (Carm) and Braeton Lawton (Brianna).  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

     She was predeceased by her twin, Jean Rohling in 2010 and a loving granddaughter Katy L. Oleksak in 1995. 
    There are no services at this time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
