Obituary of Elizabeth Abraham

Elizabeth Abraham, age 84, of Broadalbin, NY passed away on May 12, 2021 at her home with her family at her side.

 

Elizabeth was born on January 16, 1937 to the late William and Velma Minor. She graduated from Johnstown High School in 1955 and went on to marry the late Charles Abraham in 1956. Together they had three daughters, Martha Baker, Sharon Williams and Tina Dutcher.

 

In her lifetime, she and her husband Charles operated Fine Fit Hearing Aids in Gloversville up until his passing on May 6, 1989. She later went on to work for Lexington and then Tryon State School as a cook where she retired from in 2000.

 

In addition to her three daughters, Elizabeth is survived by 8 grandchildren, Brett Dutcher, Amy Ball (Orrin Hart), Phelps Ball, Derek Baker (MaKenzie), Edward Bauman, Eric Bauman, McKenzie Martish and Heather Baker; 10 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Christopher St. Andrews, Annabella and Tyler Ball, Tanner and Bentley Baker, Lleyton Gorgen, Chloe Hart, Alexander Bauman and Jordan Charles Harvey; a step great grandson, Eli Miller; her beloved best friend Donna Baird, along with several other extended family members and friends.

 

Along with her both of her parents and husband Charles, she was predeceased by 3 granddaughters, Melanie St. Andrews, Kelly Abraham and Theresa Bauman, and a great-granddaughter Kayla St. Andrews.

 

Per Elizabeth’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced.
