Obituary of Marie Rose LeFever

Mrs. Marie Rose LeFever, age 82, of Johnstown, passed away on Thursday April 15, 2021 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.

 

She was born on December 27, 1938 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Angelo and Rose (Brunetto) Finateri. Marie was employed for many years as a food service worker by Gloversville Enlarged School District. She enjoyed being around her family. Marie loved everything sports, from watching her children and grandchildren participate in athletics to annual trips to Yankee Stadium. Mom enjoyed spending time with her friends, going shopping and enjoying life to the fullest. Marie spent many years actively involved in the Gloversville Little League. Birch Haven Campground was a favorite spot for Marie and Dick as they loved to gather with friends and family throughout the summer. She enjoyed vacationing and traveling with friends and family. Those who knew Marie realized her passion for life and making the most of each day.

 

Marie is survived by her two children, Michelle Schoner (Joe) of Mayfield and Mark LeFever (Frances) of Gloversville; four grandchildren, Joey and Courtney Schoner and Christopher and Katherine LeFever; two great grandchildren, Noah and Ariana Schoner; her brother, Angelo Finateri (Phyllis); a nephew, Jonathan Finateri; a niece, Bethany Cooney; along with several cousins and extended family members.

 

In addition to both of her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Richard LeFever in February of 2010.

 

In accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, services will be private to the family at a time of their convince.

 

Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown.
