Obituary of Brunilda Soto

Brunilda Soto, 66, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn on January 30, 1955 to the late Octovio and Carmen Soto.

Brunilda met the love of her life, Jose Antonio Ayala Torres, in Brooklyn. The couple started their family together, and in 1989 they moved with their daughters to Amsterdam. They have shared the past 47 years together. Brunilda proudly worked as a beautician for over 30 years in the local area.

Brunilda is survived by her soul mate, Jose Antonio Ayala Torres; her daughters, Julia Caro, Maria Sanchez, and Jessica Ayala; her grandchildren, Shaharah, Cassandra, Michelette, Ceasar, William, Ramello, and Tahlea; her great-grandchildren, Kairi, Julian, Kaleb, Cataleya, and Slade; her siblings, Richard Soto and Carmen Soto; as well as by her nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from noon until 2 o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to her family.
